What is COVID-19?
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an illness caused by a virus that can spread from person to person. The virus that causes COVID-19 is a new coronavirus that has spread throughout the world. COVID-19 symptoms can range from mild (or no symptoms) to severe illness.

Watch for symptoms
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.
Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.

What are we doing to help stop the spread?
Cleaning
At Coming Attractions Salon and Spa, we are taking this VERY seriously. When we closed down on March 23, 2020 due to Governor Hogan orders to close down nonessential businesses. We cleaned the entire salon from top to bottom with Disinfecting wipes and Disinfecting sprays. To make sure the salon stays clean and safe, we have not only asked customers to wear masks, we clean our stations after every customers with Disinfecting wipes. We make sure our customers are 6 or more feet away from the other customers inside the building. We are wiping down the most common touched areas. After business hours, we take time to wipe and spray the salon more before we leave to ensure the area is safe for our customers the next day.
Face Covering/Mask
For your Safety and ours, Face Masks is required to come into our building. No excuses.
What is a Face covering? According to Governor Hogan's executive order: "...“Face Covering” means a covering that fully covers a person’s nose and mouth, but is not a Medical-Grade Mask. The term “Face Covering” includes, without limitation, scarves and bandanas..."
"...all customers over the age of nine are required to wear Face Coverings while inside the enclosed area of any Retail Establishment or Foodservice Establishment."
Making sure Customers are not booked on top of each other
In our building, we can have up to 10 people at a time. But we try not to get up to that limit because we know how scary this situation is for our elderly customers and we make sure that we don't have more than 1 or 2 stylist at a time and they each have 1 customers at a time. In total of 4 people at a time.
Customers with Special Needs
Do you have special conditions that you wish to be by yourself at the time of the appointment? Please ask. We accommodate for those who have special health conditions and are willing to make you the last customer of the day for the stylists or make sure only you and the stylist are the only ones in the building so you don't come across anyone else. Just make the special request and we will
accommodate you.
